Frequently asked questions

Is DrawsUp really free?
Yes – free to run and free to play. There are no setup fees, no subscriptions and no per-event charges. The only fee anywhere is a platform fee added when a player pays an entry fee online by card, plus card processing at cost. See the pricing page.
Do I need an account to use the free tools?
No. The free tools – the Event Capacity Calculator and the Bracket Makers – are open to everyone, no sign-up required.
How do I register for an event?
Browse events, open the one you want, and hit Register on a division. You'll pick who's playing and confirm – that's it.
Can I register my child or someone I manage?
Yes. When you register, choose the managed-participant option to sign up a minor or another player you manage under your account.
How do I collect entry fees online?
Connect a payout account from the organizer panel, then set your event's prices for singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Players pay securely by card and funds are paid out to your account – DrawsUp never holds your money. Free events need no setup at all.
Can I run a paid event without taking cards online?
Yes. You don't need a payout account to run a paid event. Collect entry fees another way – cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, a bank transfer or your own card terminal – and record each payment yourself from the event's entrant list. Turn on "Let players pay later" if you want players to register online and pay you afterwards; otherwise you add each player yourself.
Which draw formats are supported?
Several, including single elimination, round robin, double elimination, compass and Swiss – the formats you can choose are listed when you set up a division. Seeds are placed in the standard tennis positions, and you can generate, publish, and record results from the organizer panel.
I forgot my password.
Use the reset link on the login page and we'll email you a way to set a new one.
