Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DrawsUp collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using DrawsUp, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information – your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with a connected account such as Google, we store the identifier that provider gives us and the email address it confirms, and you may have no password with us at all.
• Profile & player information – details you add, such as rating, location, and the participants you manage.
• Event & registration data – the events you create or register for, and related entries and results.
• Communications – messages you send us and your notification preferences.
• Usage & device data – basic technical information and cookies needed to run the site (see our Cookie Policy).

When an entry fee is paid online, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). Card details are entered directly with the provider – DrawsUp never sees or stores your full card number. We keep only a record of the transaction (amount, status, and a reference).

You can sign in to DrawsUp with a connected account – currently Google. When you do, Google tells us a permanent identifier for your Google account, your email address and whether Google has verified it, and your name. We ask for nothing else – no contacts, no calendar, no files – and we never post anything on your behalf.

Using it means Google knows you signed in to DrawsUp, and their handling of that is covered by their own privacy policy. Connecting is optional and you can disconnect it at any time from your account settings, as long as you keep another way to sign in.

• To provide and operate the service – accounts, events, registrations, draws, and results.
• To process payments and payouts you initiate.
• To send transactional and event-related notifications you've opted into.
• To keep the platform secure and to improve how it works.

We don't sell your personal information for money. We share it as needed to run the service: with service providers (for example, our payment and email providers), with event organizers for the tournaments and programs you register in (so they can manage their roster and draws), and with advertising partners as described under Advertising below. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Some pages on DrawsUp may display advertising, including through Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to DrawsUp and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
• Where required (for example, in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before setting non-essential advertising cookies, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.

Accounts are for adults. Minors participate through a parent or guardian who manages their registration and information. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. See our Children's Privacy notice for details.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, and we retain it for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations.
