Press release
DrawsUp Launches Free Platform for Running Tennis Tournaments and Programs
Clubs and tournament directors can take entries, collect fees, build draws, assign courts and publish results in one place, with no setup fees or subscriptions.
– DrawsUp has launched an online platform for running tennis tournaments, leagues, clinics and camps. Organizers use it to manage an event from the first entry to the final result, and players use it to find events, register and follow their draws. It is available now at drawsup.com and is free for organizers.
Many club events are still run on spreadsheets, email and paper draw sheets. Entries sit in one file, payments in another and the draw on a clipboard, and a withdrawal on the morning of play means updating all three by hand. DrawsUp keeps entries, payments, draws, court assignments and results in a single record, so a change is made once and everyone who needs it sees it.
For organizers
- Events with as many divisions as needed, set by level, age, gender and format, with support for NTRP, UTR, WTN, ITN, LTA and Tennis Australia ratings.
- Online registration with waitlists, doubles partner confirmation, early-bird pricing and coupon codes.
- Entry fees collected by card and paid out to the organizer's own bank account.
- Eight draw formats: single elimination, round robin, double round robin, double elimination, feed-in consolation, compass, Swiss, and group stage to knockout. Seeds, byes and wildcards can be placed by hand in the draw editor.
- Scores entered at the desk advance the draw automatically, and results can be corrected afterwards.
- Courts, match times and a day view for the whole event, with clash warnings and court suggestions.
- Check-in, walk-up entries and printable draw sheets.
- Refunds, staff roles with per-event permissions, and reports exported as PDF, CSV or QuickBooks files.
Clinics, camps, drills and league nights run as programs, with rosters in place of draws and the same registration and payment tools.
For players
- Search for events by name, club, city or event code.
- Register and pay online. Doubles partners confirm their own entries.
- A personal dashboard with upcoming events, draws and a match record kept by organizers.
- Public draws and results, and an on-court board showing what is being played on each court.
Pricing
DrawsUp has no setup fees, subscriptions or per-event charges, and free events cost nothing to run or enter. When an event charges an entry fee, the player pays a platform fee at checkout and card processing is passed through at cost. Entry fees go to the organizer. Details are on the pricing page.
Free planning tools
The site also offers planning tools that need no account, including an event capacity calculator, bracket makers, a round-robin schedule builder and printable scorecards.
